Recognized for his abilities to analyze and identify new market and unmet market opportunities as well as predict business and market trends, Steve has been on the forefront of the development of many of the technological advances used in businesses today. An exceptional business leader and strategist, Steve has over thirty years of experience in successfully building and operating dynamic businesses that align the offerings, value, business model, partners, sales and marketing with business strategies to optimize realizable revenue and profit.

 

Throughout his career, Steve has consistently been sought out by some of the world's most elite technology firms to lead their companies product and service businesses. As President of Fujitsu Consulting US, Steve led the expansion of the firm from a regional to a national business and increased revenue by over 70%, from $125m to $425m. Steve was also instrumental in the roll out of Microsoft's NT and Exchange as the lead executive of the Digital/Microsoft Alliance for Enterprise Computing. In his role as VP of Strategic Marketing for Compaq's enterprise computing group, Steve championed growth through both organic and strategic initiatives. Steve has been involved in eleven successful acquisitions which generated over $13b in M&A value for many companies including Compaq.

 

Combining the business acumen of a seasoned executive with the big picture thinking of an entrepreneur, Steve launched successful software and services businesses in the emerging mail/office automation and web-based enterprise system management markets. Through his leadership each of these businesses generated $1b in leveraged revenue and achieved number one status in market share.

Steve is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and one of the founders of Persystent Software and co-author of InstantAdvantage.com. He currently serves on the advisory boards of 360training, MyTableNow, Global Media Outreach and the Institute for Effective Leadership. Steve previously served as CEO and on the board of Fujitsu Consulting of India and as an adviser to University of Arizona.

 

Steve holds a BS and MBA and has enhanced his professional development by attending executive programs at Harvard Business School, Wharton Business School and the University of Virginia's Darden Business School.
